Two years after having been the first French city honoured by the “Intelligent Community Forum”, Issy les Moulineaux was one more time selected among the 7 finalist cities of the 2007 edition with Ottawa (Canada), the district of Gangnam, Seoul (South Korea), Tallin (Estonia), Sunderland (UK), Dundee (Scotland) or Waterloo (Canada).
Issy les Moulineaux was selected because of its total nature strategy in favour of the technological development but also for its activities with the diverse companies.
From the deployment of the cabled network to the Mesh WiFi network, passing by the PUCI card, the multi-media room of the city hall, the Information Local Planning, the data-processing management, the services online, the connected public places or the e-Democracy experiments, the city of Issy les Moulineaux has a lot of arguments to justify this ICF distinction.
The city was also selected for the reinforcement of its economic pole, which makes Issy les Moulineaux one of the rare cities to enter more employment than inhabitants, with the presence of 60% of High tech companies such as Cisco, France Telecom R&D, HP, Sybase or France 24.
